Daily Round-up, 05/11/24: Monster Infrequent (and Epic) Drops - Atlantis Lower District/Atlantis Wilderness/Gadir/Gaulos/Dark Lands

What's up, y'all!  Happy Mother's Day to everyone, but especially to our Mom gamers! Back with a rat-tat-tat-tat-a of MI and Epic drops from my evening's farming run, listed by location, but may have dropped on multiple runs.  (Apologies in advance if I mis-place a "Natural Cave" or "Ancient something-or-other" drop in one of the main areas.)  Along with highlighting MI mace drops , I am showing some love to MI Axes and Swords as well.  I am currently and specifically on the hunt for the Triton's Battleaxe . Atlantis Lower District Deep Sea Dart Triteia's Staff Potion of Experience (Not an MI or Epic, but 1st time I've ever landed this!) Psionic Projector (Epic helm) Antediluvian Hauberk Triton Armor Triton's Shield Antediluvian Blade Fangtooth (Epic thrown) Triton's Shield Triteia's Clasp Cupid's Bow (Epic bow) Nautilus Harness Atlantis High District Goldfang Leg Guards (Abandoned House) Wailing Horror (Epic axe) Doomf...

Daily Round-up, 05/06/24: Monster Infrequent (and Epic) Drops - Gadir/Gaulos/Dark Lands

Back again, and apologies for the delay!  I realized I got my dates mixed up; below are the non-Atlantis  MI  and  Epic  drops recorded on 05/06/24. Disappointed I didn't squeeze in more runs and more drops! Shadowrath (Epic bow) - Gadir Necropolis Goldfang Battle Axe - Gaulos Wilderness Guards of the Deep - Ichthian Grotto Dvergr-Forged Edge Mace - Halls of the Dvergr (Austri boss) Dvergr-Forged Edge Mace  - Dvergr Mines Reginn's Hammer (!) (Epic mace) - Dvergr Mines This is my 2nd ever Reginn's Hammer drop, about one week from the first drop, and both were here in the Dvergr Mines.  RNG?  What else to explain ARPG loot drops?  But a curious coincidence, I'll say.

Daily Round-up, 05/07/24: Monster Infrequent (and Epic) Drops from Atlantis Runs [CORRECTION: Drops were from 05/06/24]

I am going to do my best to catalog my daily Monster Infrequent (MI) farming exploits and the anecdotal observations I make along the way.  I am going to fail more often than not in consistently posting my drops shortly after each gaming session, but I will do my best to catalog as frequently and consistently as possible.  So, you will definitely see posts with an old date, just because I wasn't able to post in a timely manner. So far, all of this is in Normal difficulty (you wanna talk about over-leveled?!).  TBH I am not seeking to be the best TQ player with BiS gear, and beat on Legendary difficulty at the lowest level.  I am in it for the hoarding and the rush that I get when an MI item drops! 😄 And if an Epic item (more than likely, a mace!) that I covet drops along the way, even bigger the rush.  I don't care how many  Dverger-Forged Edge Maces  or  Ichthian Whompers  drop, I am excited for each single drop.  I will list all Epic ...

Monster Infrequent Farming Spots (running list)

Titan Quest  features SO MANY items.  Whether it's armor - helms, chestplates, armguards, and legguards; weapons - my beloved clubs, swords, spears, bows, and staves; or rings/amulets (btw, where do shields fit into all this?), there are hundreds if not thousands of unique items with a diversity of stat affixes!  You have Rare items, Epic items, and Legendary items.  While Rare items are pretty dime-a-dozen, Epic and Legendary items are uber-rare and highly sought after (if you don't believe me about the rarity, check out TQ Database  and these items' Loot Table drop rates.  One super-cool category of unique items - and that you cannot find in Diablo IV - is the Monster Infrequent .  Monster Infrequents, or MIs, are specific to a specific monster  type , and in some instances, specific to an individual monster.  For instance, you want to get your hands on an Ichthian Whomper (and yes, not a BK Whopper)?  Well, you aren't going to ...

INTRODUCTION

I won’t bore you with a Shakespearean soliloquy, but wanted to share a tick about myself.  I am a late-blooming ARPG fanatic borne of the pandemic.  What got me hooked was Grim Dawn .  I have since been blasting through Diablo IV , put a minute into Last Epoch , and am now squarely in the Titan Quest camp.  Why TQ ?  Like GD , there are HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of unique items to farm and hoard.  An obsession for collecting and inflicting pain on monsters with mace weapons that started in GD fully blossomed with the HELLHammer in D4 .  And now, thanks to TQ Database [https://tq-db.net/en], I have a comprehensive index of unique maces to hunt down in the world of Titan Quest . While my initial focus will be on Titan Quest , and my travels and travails to find every last unique mace in the game, my posts will definitely touch on other topics throughout my TQ experience as well as to other ARPGs.  I will try to keep my focus on those top...
